I have issues... button issues

I've been trying to set up my craft room since we moved in almost 2 months ago, but it's been slow progress.  Mostly, because I just couldn't decide which of the two spare rooms would be my craft room, and which would be the computer/guest room.  I ended up listening to my common sense, and made the bigger room into my craft room, ditched the guest room idea, and put the computer in the small one.  (I'm actually not kidding :)

I'm in desperate need of shelving in the closet in order to organize everything.  So for now, most of the stuff is in boxes, but somewhat organized.

Well, OK.  It's more like organized chaos.
But I do know where everything is.

Almost.

Anyways, I digress...

This evening, I decided to take out my jars of buttons to sort the new ones I've been accumulating recently.

Seeing all these jars of organized buttons made me realize that I have button issues.

See what I mean?

Every colour of the rainbow, mostly sorted, at the exception of a few jars of mixed ones.

Literally, I have every colour of the rainbow.  And then some.

Some wood ones found at the thrift store.  I just love everything wood these days!

And these ones found recently.  My daughter begged me to get them.  And well, she twisted my arm, so I had to get them! *Ahem*

Now I better start making stuff with them to validate having such a collection.  But in the mean time, they look really pretty all lined up on the window sill ;)

Like I said... I have button issues ;)

  1. How wonderful that you'll have your own craft room. I think you made the right decision, as your craft business grows, you'll need more space and guests really just need a place to rest.

Love all your buttons! What a fun display they would make on the wall!
